Vintage Firearms Inc is pleased to offer this lightweight, upland gun from Ugartechea, one of Spain’s premier gunmakers well known the world over for making solid, well finished and affordable guns. This gun is a Model 221 built in 1985, it is serial numbered 171951. Weighing exactly 5lbs. 1/2lbs. it is balanced perfectly on the hinge pin. This handy shotgun is in ‘as new’ condition with all its factory finishes at 99% with just a few handling marks. The 26" barrels are tight on the hinge and breech face, have mirror bores, demi-block construction, tight ribs, 99% factory blue, and are choked a very useful IC/M with 3” chambers. The receiver retains 99% vivid factory case color and is in perfect mechanical condition with crisp double triggers, auto safety and perfect screws. The European Walnut has straight figure and excellent hand cut checkering with double borders, the length of pull is 14 9/16”, wood to metal fit is suberb. These are known to be reliable guns, and this one is nice and light and a joy to handle. This 221 is priced affordably for a boxlock built by old school gunsmiths, what’s not to like?
