This Winchester Model 1873 Circa 1888 is in .38-40 caliber (.38 WCF) with a 20 inch round barrel and full-length magazine tube with Barrel exhibits adjustable rear sights, dadoed front blade sight, and the maker’s address “WINCHESTER’S REPEATING ARMS NEW HAVEN, CT / KING’S IMPROVED PATENT MARCH 29, 1866, OCTOBER 16, 1860” on the barrel’s top center facet. Features the classic sheared hunters front sight and buckhorn rear sight. The rifle has not been tested for its function or its shooting abilities, and shows many years of use.
