Springfield model 1884 US Carbine, cal 45-70. serial 451017. Shiney bore, good markings,  barrel has 75 to 80 % dulling blue. stock is fine, just a sliver reglued to the top along the frame, does not affect the inegrity of the stock. works fine,.  Good shooter and way better quality then most carbines seen.
