General Specs: Smith & Wesson, Year C1941, .38SPL 31oz, 6" Barrel
Serial Number: S920059
A very nice condition Smith & Wesson Model 1905 4th change. Manufactured around 1941/42 this is the same model that Herman Goering wore when apprehended May 6th 1945 by the 36th Infantry Division of the US Army. He can be seen surrendering it on movie footage of the encounter! This classic wartime production revolver most likely has a different story but nevertheless it’s a Smith &Wesson with 98% original bluing, a mirror bore and 99% original case color remaining on the hammer and trigger. The left grip panel has been modified which makes for quicker manipulation of the cylinder catch! Maybe there’s an interesting story! Thanks for looking!
