            Exact revolver in photos. Named model .357 Military & Police Heavy Barrel Stainless; numbered model 65, Third Engineering Change. BPL serial prefix = 1993 Tompkins production. Hammer nose ignition, Traditional double / single action revolver with hammer block. Steel metal with rubber grips. 6 round .357 or .38 ammunition. 3 inch 5 groove bore 1:18.75 rh twist. Serrated ramp front sight on solid rib, fixed notch rear. .312 smooth combat trigger with .265 service hammer. Stainless finish with satin chrome trigger and hammer. Surface detractions moderate, principally upper edge wear. We rate this 65-5 as Very Good, 85 %  vicinity, but photos ought to suffice. Bore & chambers clean, minimal carbon, we estimate firing at fewer than 50 rounds. It served Cold War interdiction duty in Borinquen Air Station jurisdiction, against Castro and the cartels. 8 1/2 inches length; 5 1/2 height; 1.449 cylinder diameter.
