The Model 94 is the rifle most associated with the Winchester name, it has sold over 7,000,000 units and is often referred to as the “ultimate lever-action”. The gun exhibits 99% factory original bluing on the barrel and has a mirror bore, excellent screws, and some silvering on the edges of the receiver balance point. The furniture has some field handling marks but just the right amount for a handy gun that has been used but cared for. Pre 64 Winchester 94’s are getting harder to find in such overall righteous condition! Built in 1962, serial number 2551858 this Winchester was built in the last years before Winchester altered their building methods to more of an ‘accountancy’ lead system. Consequently pre-64 Winchesters are much sought after in the market and genuine honest guns such as this 94 show how ’they used to be’.
