General Specs: Winchester, 1927, .32WS, 7lbs. 2oz., LOP 13 1/8"
Serial Number: 1004084
Americas favorite deer rifle. The perfect hunting gun either on foot or from the saddle, lightweight, nimble, and fast to action the 94' is simple, safe, and reliable. The Model 94 is the rifle most associated with the Winchester name, it has sold over 7,000,000 units and is often referred to as the “ultimate lever-action”. This example serial number 1004084 was built in 1927, it exhibits original factory wood and metal finishes with the bluing fading to a pleasant patina with some silvering around the balance point. The furniture has some field marks and wood that shows some nice grain with the right-hand stock showing plenty of fiddleback, wood to metal fit is superb. The 22” octagonal barrel has a perfectly mirrored bore, a Marbles elevator rear sight and is matched with a 2/3 magazine tube. This rifle is chambered for Winchester’s .32WS cartridge. A more powerful round when compared to the ubiquitous 30-30. According to Winchester’s original claims, the .32 WS has 5-10% more energy than the .30-30 at close ranges, an ideal bullet for close woodland hunts.
