Marlin Model 56 - Levermatic - .22 LR Rifle - Monte Carlo pistol grip style stock and forend with butt plate in very good condition. 22 In. long barrel with adj. open rear sight and a ramped front bead sight. Clip style magazine with 8 round capacity. Receiver drilled for scope . Weaver scope adapter with a New Barska 4x20 scope with lens protectors. Bore is clean and bright. Barrel and receiver retaining approx 90% bluing. Stock and forend in very good condition with several small handling marks. Includes a new soft sleeve. Known for it's extremely short lever throw action and great accuracy. Manufactured from 1955 to 1964. Rare, nice addition to any collection.
