Listed for sale is a Gallager Carbine.  Civil War .54.

Rifle is Civil War Manufacture.  .54 Cal Breech Loader.  Rifle saw use during the war but not too much.  External metal has Patina.  Light scattered pitting on exterior barrel near muzzle.  Looks like part of Patina.  Bore sharp rifling, shiny appearance.  Lead deposits next to rifling on breech end need to be cleaned out. Small amount of very light scattered pitting interior.  Stock has Single, well stamped Cartouche.  Stock has NOT been Sanded, Refinished, Broken, Busted, Beat up or Carved on.  Has spare Nipple in Butt stock compartment.  All metal has good markings.  Not rusted or pitted.
