Many of you that enjoy shooting with the side-by-side shotgun are familiar with Tony
Galazan’s well received RBL series of round bodied guns. The gun presented here is a near new RBL Launch series with the original maker’s case, all the accessories, and many options. These early guns have more refined engraving and generally a better fit and finish than later guns. Wonderfully balanced, engraved on the coin finished receiver with much nicer engraving than the later RBL guns, including the shaded background that makes the engraving pop and really show off…this is a great looking double gun. This gun weighs 6 pounds, which is A LOT lighter (by 4-8 ounces!) than any RBL guns you will review, and that is very important for the upland gunner that walks so many tough miles in heavy cover and grasslands. The gun is stocked with gorgeous 3X special order wood and a long length of pull at 14 7/8” that will accommodate the taller and shorter shooters both. The RBL is ready to shoot modern ammunition from its 28” barrels and with screw-in choke tubes is a very versatile gun ready for upland game and/or fun on the clays course. As with most desirable firearms that have been discontinued, the RBL will increase in value as time goes on, and as such, is a good place to invest your money and enjoy its use.
