Lipsey's distributor-exclusive New Model Blackhawk Convertible in blued finish (Model 5246) ships with two cylinders—.357 Magnum and an extra 9mm Luger cylinder—that can be interchanged without tools. The gun uses Ruger’s traditional western-style hardwood grips and is finished in blued alloy steel.
The revolver features a 5.50in cold hammer-forged barrel, ramp front sight and an adjustable rear sight for target-grade accuracy. A transfer bar mechanism together with a loading-gate interlock provides an added measure of safety against accidental discharge.
