Manufacturer Description
The Smith & Wesson Model 1854 in .357 Magnum is a modern lever-action rifle blending traditional lines with contemporary features. This stainless-finish variant ships with a black synthetic stock and textured forend, a 19.25 in threaded 410 stainless steel barrel, and a tubular magazine providing a 10+1 capacity.
Factory features verified on this configuration include a forged 416 stainless steel receiver, a Picatinny optics rail, an adjustable XS Sights® ghost-ring rear sight paired with a gold-bead front sight, and an 11/16-24 threaded muzzle with thread protector. The rifle uses a removable magazine tube for safe unloading, side ejection with a solid top receiver for optics mounting, a flat trigger and a large-loop operating lever.
Controls and safety are conventional for the platform: the Model 1854 uses a cross-bolt manual safety and a half-cock position on the hammer. The forend incorporates M-LOK® compatible slots on synthetic variants for attaching accessories.
