The Magnum Research BFR is a large-frame, stainless steel single-action revolver built from 17-4 PH stainless steel with button-rifled barrels and precision-built components. It is produced in the United States and offered in multiple calibers and two frame sizes (short and long cylinders).
The BFR features a transfer-bar firing mechanism, factory black fixed front and adjustable rear sights, and provisions for mounting a scope (Weaver-style scope bases). Factory shipping configurations may include one-piece rubber grips or white polymer Bisley-style grips depending on model or special edition.
