Then, randomly, a teenager approached her, asked her how old she was and then said, &#8220;I want you to have sex with me. I have a knife in my pocket.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Shocked and scared, Muntain reminded the teen that they were being recorded on the store\u2019s camera, while also telling him that her husband and three-year-old son were outside waiting for her and will be \u201clooking for me soon.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The young perp seemed unfazed.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;And you are threatening me with a knife if I don&#8217;t have sex with you?\u201d she asked.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Yes,\u201d he replied, according to her telling of the encounter.<\/p>\n<p>Right at this moment, Muntain got lucky because there was a fellow shopper crossing her path. She informed the man, the concealed carrier, of the situation.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This boy has a knife and is threatening to use it on me if I don&#8217;t have sex with him,\u201d she exclaimed. Muntain took off running while the concealed carrier drew his firearm.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI firmly believe that if that man hadn&#8217;t walked by when he did and had his gun on him, things could&#8217;ve gone VERY differently,\u201d she said on Facebook.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt still doesn&#8217;t feel real,\u201d she continued. \u201cI\u2019m so grateful that he was placed in my path at that moment, and that he was exercising his right to bear arms. I always figured that was a slim possibility at my school, but never at a Walmart in Fleming Island. You literally never know\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Police applauded Muntain for the way she handled the situation.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;She did exactly what she needed to do as for as making contact with someone and getting them involved, to at least bring attention to herself and what was going on,&#8221; Sgt. Keith Smith with the Clay County Sheriff&#8217;s Office told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.news4jax.com\/news\/florida\/clay-county\/walmart-shopper-threatened-with-knife-clay-county-deputies-say\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"knife-wielding-14-year-old-demanding-sex-from-walmart-shopper-stopped-by-concealed-carrier\" title=\"Knife-Wielding 14-Year-Old Demanding Sex from Walmart Shopper Stopped by Concealed Carrier\">News4Jax<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>As for the suspect, he was taken to a juvenile detention center and given a mental health evaluation.
