(<em>Photo: FOX 12<\/em>)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>An armed Oregon woman fended off a flasher allegedly high on crystal meth last month, local media reports.<\/p>\n<p>The woman, identified as \u201cKim,\u201d told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kptv.com\/story\/38903357\/court-docs-woman-pulls-gun-on-exposer-who-had-just-shot-up-crystal-meth\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"portland-woman-fends-off-flasher\" title=\"Armed Portland Woman Fends Off Flasher High on Crystal Meth\">FOX 12 News<\/a> that the suspect, 43-year-old Marques Seville Hardges, forced his way into her apartment in Northeast Portland and dropped his pants demanding that she perform a &#8220;sex act.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Instead of complying with the perv\u2019s command, Kim pulled out the handgun located in her purse. She admitted though, it wasn&#8217;t her first instinct.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe gun wasn&#8217;t the first thing that came to my mind&#8230;it was how am I going to get out of here,&#8221; Kim said. \u201cI was in a sheer panic, I was just in a panic.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>When she did draw the gun, it sent\u00a0Hardges running.\u00a0 He dropped the pill bottle he had grabbed from her apartment but made off with $60 in stolen cash.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"headline\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gunsamerica.com\/blog\/watch-perv-park-flashing-children-armed-father\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"portland-woman-fends-off-flasher\" title=\"Armed Portland Woman Fends Off Flasher High on Crystal Meth\" rel=\"bookmark\">WATCH: Perv at Park Flashing Children Confronted by Armed Dad<\/a><\/h2>\n<p>Hardges stalked Kim on the street that day, followed her\u00a0through the entrance of her apartment\u00a0building\u00a0and\u00a0into the\u00a0elevator she was taking to her\u00a0floor.\u00a0 During the ride up, he told her that he had just shot up crystal meth for the first time.\u00a0\u00a0Hardges then pursued Kim all the way to her unit and pounced once she opened the door.<\/p>\n<p>Kim, a licensed concealed carrier, said this wasn&#8217;t the first time she&#8217;s been sexually assaulted.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">&#8220;I\u2019ve had a real hard time since then, struggling with because it brings back horrible memories for me,&#8221; Kim said. &#8220;There must be someplace inside me that&#8217;s just not going to let that happen again.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Police arrested\u00a0Hardges on Aug. 14, charging him with sodomy, attempted sex abuse, theft,\u00a0and burglary, according to FOX 12.<\/p>\n<p>Following the incident, the apartment building now has a sign asking visitors and residents to ensure the main door is shut after entering and exiting.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">&#8220;We need to look out for our neighbors, there\u2019s a reason we live in a building that has security,&#8221; Kim said.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"KPTV - FOX 12\" href=\"\/\/www.kptv.com\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"portland-woman-fends-off-flasher\" title=\"Armed Portland Woman Fends Off Flasher High on Crystal Meth\">KPTV &#8211; FOX 12<\/a><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center\">***<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gunsamerica.com\/BrowseSpecificCategory\/Parent\/Guns\/ViewAll.aspx\" campaign=\"BuyGunGA\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\">Purchase a New Pistol on GunsAmerica<\/a>***<\/h2>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>An armed Oregon woman fended off a flasher allegedly high on crystal meth last month, local media reports.
