Anti-gunners are hailing it as another victory in the crusade to censor gun content.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m encouraged to see Facebook make yet another policy change that encourages and promotes gun safety on its platforms,\u201d said Shannon Watts, the founder of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, in a press release.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is an important step and one more signal that American companies are ready and willing to stand on the right side of history,\u201d she continued. \u201cTech giants like Facebook play an important role in the fight for a safer nation and we\u2019re grateful that its leaders are once again stepping up to the plate.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Alan Gottlieb of the Second Amendment Foundation had a different take.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This has nothing to do with safety,&#8221; Gottlieb told GunsAmerica via email.\u00a0 &#8220;No minor uses flashlights or a gun case to cause harm. In fact a gun case is a safety device. This is just another attempt to demonize anything to do with firearms.
