No more Dick&#8217;s.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cSpringfield Armory is severing ties with Dick\u2019s Sporting Goods and its subsidiary, Field &amp; Stream, in response to their hiring a group for anti-Second Amendment lobbying,\u201d said the Illinois-based company in a press release.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Springfield went on to point out that this isn\u2019t the only transgression the retailer has made in recent weeks.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Dick\u2019s banned the sale of firearms to adults under the age of 21 and not only stopped selling modern sporting rifles in their Field &amp; Stream stores but opted to destroy their existing inventory.\u00a0 Quite a <em>Dick<\/em>\u00a0move.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cIt is clear where Dick\u2019s Sporting Goods and its subsidiary, Field &amp; Stream, stand on the Second Amendment, and we want to be clear about our message in response. Their position runs counter to what we stand for as a company. At Springfield Armory, we believe in the right and principles fought for and secured by American patriots and our founding forefathers, without question.
