Blac-Rac is a Boise, Idaho-based company that has been making weapon mounts for the law enforcement and military communities for years. Recently, though, and as we mentioned at SHOT Show 2018<\/a>, they have dipped their toe into the civilian market with a product that is going to knock your socks off!\u00a0 The Blac-Rac Model 1070.<\/p>\n

They have attachments for cars (ceiling or upright), helicopters, ATVs, UTVs, and, motorcycles, and, of course, bicycles. Yes,\u00a0you can get attachments for in-the-home use as well.\u00a0 A single mount covers hunting rifles, ARs, and pretty much any other weapon you have in your\u00a0arsenal. As I demonstrated in my very first video highlighting the Blac-Rac, entitled “Is It too Easy to Steal an AR from a Police Cruiser?<\/a>“, what makes this system difficult to defeat is that in addition to being extremely tough, the takedown pins on the rifle are covered which prevents a would-be thief from disassembling the lower from the upper.<\/p>\n

I learned on my factory tour that Blac-Rac mounts are made in the United States!\u00a0 All materials are U.S.-sourced. No Chinese steel here. The assembly process is completed on sight by skilled craftsmen. Kudos to Blac-Rac for keeping jobs in America, where they belong!<\/p>\n
