Let us not forget, in the great gun ban being proposed at the moment, any PCC\u00a0 (Pistol Caliber Carbine) that happens to look like an AR, will be banned. If a 9mm carbine has been on your bucket list, this is probably the time.<\/p>\n

You can read my full review here<\/a>, and I believed in this gun enough I bought it after the test. For today, we will be hitting the highlight reel.<\/p>\n

The Nordic is the best of the 9mm carbines I have shot to date. The bolt locks open like a “real boy” gun when empty, something lots of PCC\u2019s don\u2019t. It is light, agile, and runs like a scalded cat. There is a lot to love.<\/p>\n

The best part about the Nordic PCC, it has multiple feeding options, by way of a detachable magazine well. At present, it can feed from Glock, M&P, or Beretta 92 magazines, which gives you a whole host of options. One thing we learned after the 1994 Assault Weapons ban, a Glock magazine is among the most durable things on earth. I still have pre-ban magazines, and they still work. Gotcha Feinstein! With the surge in aftermarket hi capacity Glock magazines since that ban\u2019s sunset, there are mountains of extras to be had. Another benefit, Glock magazines are factory available all the way up to 33 rounds, and not that pricey.<\/p>\n

Switching the magwell allows you to use a number of different popular magazines.<\/p><\/div>\n

Why would you be interested in a 9mm Carbine? Mostly because they are fun. But they also have fantastic training value and work for defense in a pinch ( I would always choose a rifle caliber if I had the option. But 9mm out of a carbine does beat a pistol).\u00a0 They are cheap to feed and allow you to run CQB range drills on steel targets, which is awesome. An AR-15 at those ranges would require frangible ammunition, which is not economically realistic for most of us.<\/p>\n

If you have been wondering about one of these, now is the time. In the PCC market, this is the one that sets the standard.<\/p>\n
