Ruger always as a few tricks up their sleeves and at a price that is right. We will be covering many of the other new products later in the week, but decided to start with the new Security 9<\/a>. Recalling the unwavering durability of the Security 6 revolver, the new Security 9 has a strong name to live up to.<\/p>\n

Impressions<\/h2>\n

The Security 9 is a mid-sized or compact pistol, a perfect first-time buyer pistol. Similar in size to a Glock 19 or M&P9C, the Security 9 features a 15-round flush fit magazine. The gun has a very clean look and features you might not expect. For example, it features front and rear cocking serrations. The sights are steel. Out of the box,\u00a0I like them.<\/p>\n

To round out the new Ruger handguns, also available is the EC9s<\/a>. EC stands for everyday carry, and Ruger designers meant it. Building on the proven LCP design, the EC9s is a slightly scaled up version for the 9mm round. It is a fantastic option for the CCW market, at a price you are going to like.<\/p>\n
