Cuellar.<\/p>\n<p>When Tarbutton spoke to <a href=\"https:\/\/abc13.com\/snapchat-shooter-gets-5-years-in-prison\/2798926\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"houston-woman-gun-moving-car\" title=\"Five Years in Prison for Houston Woman Who Fired Gun Out of Moving Car\">ABC 13<\/a> about the incident, she claimed it was no big deal.\u00a0 It was just some fodder for Snapchat.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We were drinking at the time and were riding around, shooting in the air,&#8221;\u00a0Tarbutton said.\u00a0 As a result of their buffoonery, Tarbutton and Cuellar became known as the &#8220;Snapchat Shooters.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Today, though,\u00a0Tarbutton is realizing that it is a big deal.\u00a0 After pleading guilty to deadly conduct and criminal mischief, a judge sentenced her to five years in prison.<\/p>\n<p>The judge gave her a small break in that she doesn&#8217;t have to turn herself in until Jan. 2.\u00a0 This way she can spend the holidays with her family.<\/p>\n<p><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"width: 0px;overflow: hidden;line-height: 0\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/p>\n<p>This was not Ms. Tarbutton&#8217;s first run-in with the law.\u00a0 Imagine that.\u00a0 She was already serving six years probation for harassing a police officer and threatening the officer&#8217;s children.<\/p>\n<p>Sonya Shumway, Tarbuttton&#8217;s mother, tried to stick up for her daughter.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The area they were in, she knows nobody couldn&#8217;t have gotten hurt,&#8221; said Shumway.\u00a0 Right&#8230;\u00a0 And she knew that how?\u00a0 You know what they say about apples and the distance they travel from trees.<\/p>\n<p>Anyways, police seemed happy that the two were apprehended.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We take dangerous conduct, reckless conduct, deadly conduct seriously and when you&#8217;re foolish enough to put it on social media, I assure you that the police department, the sheriff&#8217;s department and all of our public safety department are constantly looking at social media looking for these fools,&#8221; Houston police chief Art Acevedo said in October, in an interview with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.click2houston.com\/news\/woman-in-snapchat-shooting-video-pleads-guilty-sentenced-to-5-years\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"houston-woman-gun-moving-car\" title=\"Five Years in Prison for Houston Woman Who Fired Gun Out of Moving Car\">Click 2 Houston<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Thanks to some really good police work we were able to identify a suspect,&#8221;
