Starting today, researchers and gun safety advocates have a powerful new tool to work with,&#8221; said John Feinblatt, the president of Everytown. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;There\u00a0used to be no easy way to compare\u00a0gun laws\u00a0across state lines and over time, but it now takes just a few clicks of a mouse,&#8221; to quote from a 2017<a href=\"https:\/\/www.brennancenter.org\/publication\/crime-trends1990-2016\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"anti-gunners-launch-interactive-map-to-compare-gun-laws-in-all-50-states\" title=\"Anti-Gunners Launch Interactive Map to Compare Gun Laws in All 50 States\"> Brennan Center for Justice Crime Trends report<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Correlation doesn&#8217;t equal causation, but this data certainly undermines the anti-gun argument that expanding concealed carry laws increases crime. \u00a0Were that to be true, crime rates would be spiking as there are now <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gunsamerica.com\/blog\/now-15-million-concealed-carriers-u-s\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"anti-gunners-launch-interactive-map-to-compare-gun-laws-in-all-50-states\" title=\"Anti-Gunners Launch Interactive Map to Compare Gun Laws in All 50 States\">more than 15 million concealed carriers nationwide<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Anyways, there are plenty of other websites out there that track gun laws. \u00a0And many of them are more robust and informative than Everytown&#8217;s. \u00a0That said, feel free to check out the Gun Law Navigator. \u00a0But just remember to consider the source and its respective ant-gun agenda. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;There\u00a0used to be no easy way to compare\u00a0gun laws\u00a0across state lines and over time, but it now takes just a few clicks of a mouse,&#8221;
