The Glock booth became a clash of titans briefly on SHOT Show range day. An immovable force met an unstoppable object, lightning crashed like a phalanx colliding, and the sea ran red with the blood of heroes. Or something like that. At the very least, two old smokers, one with Glock inc, one with GunsAmerica and a camera crew of misfits, had a pretty kick-ass shoot off.<\/p>\n

Joseph Parent is an old friend of mine, and we have gone back and forth at wins in USPSA and 3-Gun over the years. In fact, I remember distinctly he beat me by 1% the last time we had a match together. Joseph works at Glock, Inc. now, as the director of GSSF. As soon as I found out he was working range day, I knew we had to make it competitive somehow.<\/p>\n

What would be the weapon of choice? As the challenged, Joseph had the right to choose. Glock 40 MOS in 10mm, support hand only. 10mm can be quite a handful, but the Glock platform absorbs the recoil better than most, so this would be doable.<\/p>\n
