When I think of Savage rifles I think great accuracy at a great price point. \u00a0In fact, in terms of value per dollar, it’s hard to beat Savage. This makes them a great option for new shooters and the many millions of us who don’t have $1,000 or more to spend on a new rifle.<\/p>\n
With that in mind, Savage released a cool teaser video last week that gave us just a little insight into its new MSR — Modern Sporting Rifle. \u00a0That’s correct, in the not too distant future Savage is going to debut its AR-15 in its full and untrammeled glory!<\/p>\n
What can we expect?\u00a0 Based on the video it’ll have an M-Lok free-float handguard and a side charging handle.<\/p>\n
Additionally, since Blackhawk! is owned by the same parent company as Savage, ATK Sporting, we can expect their MSR to be tricked out with — or at the very least, compatible with — BLACKHAWK! furniture. \u00a0Though, it’s probably best not to speculate too much here.<\/p>\n
As far as the MSRP is concerned, we don’t have any info on that just yet. \u00a0However, with SHOT Show around the corner, we should have all the deets shortly.<\/p>\n
