Material possessions aren\u2019t worth the loss of human life, and you\u2019re unlikely to draw and fire if you\u2019re already looking down the barrel of a loaded gun.<\/p>\n<p>But try telling that to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=jglNI8-SnmE\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"7-year-old-throws-punch-armed-gamestop-robbery\" title=\"7-Year-Old Throws Punch in Armed GameStop Robbery\">this 7-year-old from Maryland<\/a>, who managed to land at least one punch on a man attempting to rob a GameStop in Montgomery County.<\/p>\n<p>Video surveillance shows two men in black hoods enter the store and point a gun at the store clerks and customers. The thieves force the adults to the ground, but not before attempting to grab the 7-year-old, who immediately begins to fight back.<\/p>\n<p>The boy\u2019s father told <a href=\"https:\/\/fox59.com\/2016\/05\/26\/boy-7-fights-back-against-armed-robber-during-gamestop-heist\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"7-year-old-throws-punch-armed-gamestop-robbery\" title=\"7-Year-Old Throws Punch in Armed GameStop Robbery\">Fox 5 DC<\/a> that he believes his son\u2019s \u201cnatural instinct\u201d kicked in and he was trying to defend himself.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe didn&#8217;t completely understand why,\u201d he said. \u201cOf course, we think our son is brave and a strong kid. But we didn\u2019t exactly know why and when we saw the tape, we saw why. Because he saw somebody who was a stranger, who seemed most dangerous to him and he tried to defend himself. I think it was his natural instinct taking over there.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The thieves ultimately overpowered the youngster and forced him and his parents along the back wall behind the register.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the boy\u2019s left hook, the men were able to take cash and personal belongings before leaving the store. No one was injured, and police are still searching for the suspects, who are both described as\u00a0black men in their 20s, approximately 5\u20326\u2033 tall and weighing 170 pounds.
