Last year it was announced that Larry Potterfield, owner of Midway USA had sold one of my favorite companies, Battenfeld, to Smith & Wesson. I am always somewhat concerned when ownership of a company so innovative is taken over by a large corporate concern. It can be akin to feeding the creativity and success, to a mythical seven headed dog that guards the gates of hell. Well at least in the case of Battenfeld Technologies that doesn\u2019t seem to have happened. They have brought to market this year an abundance of new and innovative shooting products.<\/p>\n

LR TARGET CAMERA SYSTEM<\/h2>\n

The Caldwell Ballistic Precision Long Range Target Camera is one of those must have rifle shooting accessories. This camera system will work up to a mile away delivering to your iPhone or android device clear 720P images of your target. The App even allows you to record video, add notes, calculate group size and then store it all for future reference. All of the video and electronics are in a ruggedized waterproof shell for true outdoor range use. The rechargeable batteries allow you to run the system continuously for up to six hours. The system has its own storage case that all of the components neatly return to when it\u2019s time to leave the range.<\/p>\n

Everyone who owns a chronograph knows that the weakness is getting the light overhead correctly to be able to measure the speed of the bullet. This is especially true when using a chronograph indoors. The G2 is so simple and yet so innovative by literally flipping the chronograph upside down and adding light sensors 18 inches apart they have changed the game for all other chronographs. This new unit will quickly set up on a tabletop or its included tripod. The unit is also Bluetooth-equipped to communicate with your smartphone and export all of your data.<\/p>\n

The all new Tac 30 is the latest addition to the Mag Charger Family of Speedloaders. The Tac 30 is designed to accept 20 live rounds from any common 20 round ammo manufacturer box and will also conveniently accept up to three 10 round stripper clips. I saw that with a little practice you can easily convert 20 round boxes of .223 into a loaded 30 round magazine in less than 10 seconds<\/p>\n
