Parts were available to make a range of Swiss Army knives.<\/p><\/div>\n

Some of the best parts\u00a0about\u00a0SHOT\u00a0Show include all of\u00a0unique things you can only do there, and only at Victorinox Swiss Army can you make your own knife while raising money for charity. Show attendees are able to build their own co-branded commemorative knives that help out a cause on site.<\/p>\n

We had\u00a0the option of choosing between two knife styles, the Classic SD (58mm) or Spartan (91mm) and three different handle design options. Depending on which knife style you pick, you make a donation, $20 for the Classic SD and $30 for the Spartan, with 100 percent of the proceeds going\u00a0in this case to the Wounded Warrior Project.<\/p>\n

You can still get a WWP knife.<\/span> Victorinox is donating\u00a0five percent of the retail price of the four\u00a0new co-branded 2016 Swiss\u00a0Army Knife designs to charity and are committing to\u00a0donate a minimum of $100,000 this year. Look for these knifes starting March 1st.<\/p>\n

The four models are the\u00a0Classic SD, priced at $24, the Tinker at $30, the Fieldmaster at $49 and the SwissChamp model with hardwood grips at $99.<\/p>\n

My cameraman Eric and I are both Eagle Scouts and grew up with Victorinox knives. It was good to see the Swiss Army knife of our\u00a0youth there but some of the new products have come a long way, too. They have style and all the modern features we have come to expect from\u00a0our pocket knives.<\/p>\n

I was impressed with the Hunter Pro Wood with scales made out of precious and smooth sustainable Swiss walnut. The high-carbon stainless steel blade locks securely in place and is designed for easy one-handed access.\u00a0Their blades are\u00a0made with the same process that they use on the blades made for the meatpacking industries dating back to\u00a01884.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
