{"id":40813,"date":"2015-08-01T09:36:25","date_gmt":"2015-08-01T13:36:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.gunsamerica.com\/blog\/?p=40813"},"modified":"2015-08-01T09:36:25","modified_gmt":"2023-08-18T22:16:49","slug":"feds-arrest-preppers-for-stockpiling-weapons-readying-for-martial-law","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gunsamerica.com\/digest\/feds-arrest-preppers-for-stockpiling-weapons-readying-for-martial-law\/","title":{"rendered":"Feds Arrest Preppers For Stockpiling Weapons, Readying For Martial Law"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Three North Carolina men were arrested for preparing for what they believed to be an imminent government takeover.<\/p>\n<p>Walter Eugene Litteral, 50, Christopher James Barker, 41, and Christopher Todd Campbell, 30, were prepping for martial law and had stockpiled &#8220;military-style&#8221; firearms and .338-caliber ammunition, pipe bombs, reconstructed dummy grenades, handheld radios with throat microphones, body armor and balaclava masks. <\/p>\n<p>The Department of Justice said the men were arrested Saturday for violating federal firearms and explosives laws.
