(<em>Photo: Facebook<\/em>)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Police in South Jersey found a firearm on a suspect in a place that, well, isn\u2019t the most comfortable place to \u201cpack heat.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Last Friday, 21-year-old Darquan Lee was arrested and during his strip search in Cumberland County Jail guards found a loaded .25-caliber in his \u201canal cavity.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We&#8217;ve had handguns hidden before,&#8221; Bridgeton, NJ, Police Lt. Thomas Speranza told the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.philly.com\/philly\/news\/new_jersey\/20150511_Butt_in_a_butt__S__Jersey_man_allegedly_hid_gun_in_his_anal_cavity.html\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"new-jersey-man-caught-hiding-gun-where-sun-dont-shine\" title=\"New Jersey Man Caught Hiding Gun Where Sun Don\u2019t Shine\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Daily News<\/a>, &#8220;but never anything quite like this.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s a good lesson for our younger guys: You can miss something even with a pat-down.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Lee, who has an extensive criminal history, was arrested on a contempt-of-court warrant by Bridgeton police.<\/p>\n<p>Police brought him back to the station and Lee began acting strangely. He pleaded to use the restroom but after officers said they would search the stall after he finished he then changed his mind, and \u201crefused to use the bathroom,\u201d according to Speranza.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We thought he had drugs on him,&#8221; Speranza said. &#8220;We had no idea.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Officers notified the jail about Lee\u2019s strange behavior and when he arrived he was stripped searched.
