But now the news is official.<\/p><\/div>\n<p><strong>Breaking News:<\/strong> The Department of Justice has just announced that the DOJ will file no charges against George Zimmerman in relation to the death of Trayvon Martin.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThough a comprehensive investigation found that the high standard for a federal hate crime prosecution cannot be met under the circumstances here, this young man\u2019s premature death necessitates that we continue the dialogue and be unafraid of confronting the issues and tensions his passing brought to the surface,\u201d Attorney General Eric Holder announced.\u00a0\u201cWe, as a nation, must take concrete steps to ensure that such incidents do not occur in the future.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The decision comes very close to the three year anniversary of Martin&#8217;s death, which is the Thursday.
