AR500 makes armor<\/a><\/a>. In light of recently introduced legislation that would ban civilians from owning body armor<\/a>, we thought we’d show them some love. And they’ve got some great new options for those who want or need extra protection.<\/p>\n

The AR500 Micro Plate Carrier is a new twist on ballistic protection offering its user both hard and soft armor options in a small plate carrier capable of use in both concealment and in a GTW \u201cgo-to-war\u201d scenarios. Available in Black, Coyote, Wolf Grey, Olive Drab, and Multicam, the carrier is ready for employment in urban environments as well as in the field. One size fits most, and they even have an option for youth sized shoulder straps if you are purchasing this carrier for a smaller framed host.<\/p>\n

Designed with mobility and comfort in mind, this Micro Carrier gives adequate protection to large framed shooters and full coverage to small frame shooters. It covers the vital organs, focusing on the heart and most (if not all) of the lungs. The Micro Plate Carrier is optimal for youth and some female shooters as it gives them a full sized armor option built to scale.<\/p>\n

The Micro Plate Carrier is small, which means it is lighter and easier to conceal.<\/p><\/div>\n

The Micro Plate Carrier comes with two 8\u201dx10\u201d ASC Level III plates, but has the option for upgrades to either curved plates for $40, or soft pistol plates for $74.<\/p>\n

The Micro Plate Carrier also comes with a 2x double M4 magazine pouch and a double pistol magazine pouch. This carrier is optimal for someone looking for a one-carrier solution; it gives you an armor system that is adaptable as well as expandable. The Micro Plate Carrier is a small enough to be concealed under a light jacket, yet capable of being loaded out for all of your tactical needs.<\/p>\n
