Turnbull does amazing work with the finishes.<\/p><\/div>\n

Last year at SHOT Show Navy Arms<\/a> <\/a>announced their new take on the classic 1873 Winchester. In short, they are taking current production Winchesters and having Turnbull work their magic on them. We are talking some of the nicest color case hardening you will see. They have added to this line with a blued model. These are not just fancy finishes on Japanese made Winchesters. Navy Arms is also having some action work done with the installation of a short-stroke kit. Aside from looking awesome, these \u201873s are ready for competition.<\/p>\n

The color case hardened model has an MSRP of $2,500 and the blued version is $2,300 MSRP.<\/p>\n

They also had one rifle with a French gray finish. This is a prototype to see if there is enough interest to make a production run. So what about it? Is there sufficient interest in the French gray? Comment below.<\/p>\n

Gibbs Rifle Co. (owed by Navy Arms) is also now shipping what they call \u201cThe Toughest AK47 Magazine Made. Period.\u201d That is a pretty bold statement for sure. The examples they have here at SHOT do look and feel very robust. And if you figure out how to break one, they will replace it with no questions asked. The MSRP is just under $20.<\/p>\n
