FN America, LLC announced today that it has formed a partnership with Bawidamann Blades<\/a> to produce 250 limited edition knives exclusively for FN.\u00a0 On Sunday, January 18, 2015, serial number 001 will be auctioned off online and proceeds will be donated to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation<\/a> (SOWF).\u00a0 Priced at $449 each, the other 249 will be available for pre-order at the FN America booth (Booth #13662) during SHOT Show\u00ae 2015.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cFN America is proud to partner with Bawidamann Blades,\u201d said Mark Cherpes, FN America President and CEO.\u00a0 \u201cWe are very pleased with the custom knife they designed for FN as it nicely showcases the quality and innovation both Bawidamann and FN are known for.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

The FN Limited Edition Knife is made in the U.S. from CPM S35-VN stainless steel, which is hand ground and finished in a distressed wolf grey CerakoteTM.\u00a0 It has a G10 chunk handle, which offers positive grip and retention in both wet and dry conditions, and comes with a custom-made Kydex\u00ae sheath with mounting hardware that is maneuverable into multiple ambidextrous carry positions.\u00a0 Each is packaged in a walnut presentation box along with a custom challenge coin.\u00a0 The front of the coin features the FN logo and the phrase Armes de Guerre; the reverse has the Bawidamann Blades logo and serial number for that particular knife.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cFN America is pleased to donate proceeds from the auction of the first FN Limited Edition Knife to SOWF,\u201d said Cherpes.\u00a0 \u201cFN has a deep commitment to supporting our nation\u2019s armed forces.\u00a0 We hope this contribution will help SOWF achieve their mission of providing financial assistance and counseling services to the surviving children of special operations warriors who lost their lives or were wounded while serving their country.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
