According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.police.be.ch\/de\/start\/themen\/news\/medienmitteilungen.html?newsID=47c5c2be-b468-41b6-b1bf-af653524c48f&amp;utm_source=chatgpt.com\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"bt-suspected-arson-attack-switzerland\" title=\"B&amp;T Vows to Rebuild After Suspected Arson Attack\">Bern Cantonal Police<\/a>, authorities received the alarm shortly after 3:10 a.m. By the time emergency crews arrived, the building was already fully engulfed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Firefighters from Thun, Spiez and Steffisburg eventually brought the blaze under control. Investigators have not identified any suspects, and the official investigation remains active.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A video circulating online reportedly appears to show black-clad individuals igniting an incendiary device and throwing it toward wooden pallets near the building. However, police have not confirmed the video\u2019s authenticity or identified who may have been responsible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">B&amp;T\u2019s main building, flagship store and indoor shooting range will remain closed until further notice. The company <a href=\"https:\/\/bt-ag.ch\/en\/b-and-t\/firma\/?utm_source=chatgpt.com\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"bt-suspected-arson-attack-switzerland\" title=\"B&amp;T Vows to Rebuild After Suspected Arson Attack\">continues to accept orders by email<\/a>, although it warned customers to expect delays in confirmations, processing and deliveries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">B&amp;T founder and chairman Karl Br\u00fcgger reportedly estimated the damage at between 12 million and 20 million Swiss francs. He <a href=\"https:\/\/www.blick.ch\/schweiz\/brand-in-thuner-waffenfabrik-bandt-es-sieht-aus-wie-im-krieg\/t30v98k?utm_source=chatgpt.com\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"bt-suspected-arson-attack-switzerland\" title=\"B&amp;T Vows to Rebuild After Suspected Arson Attack\">said<\/a> the company is insured and its survival is not in question. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-we-will-not-be-defeated\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u2018We Will Not Be Defeated\u2019<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">B&amp;T responded with a forceful statement directed at whoever caused the destruction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cYou can damage or destroy our buildings.
