The SOE Micro-Rig is compact, and easy to get on and off.<\/p><\/div>\n

If you\u2019re a bonafide American, odds are you own a shotgun. Shotguns have been around in some way shape or form since the 13th century with the invention of the Chinese fire lance. The shotgun is the quintessential means of defense for many households, and a lot of vehicles. It is the tool of choice for waterfowl hunters, and a lot of whitetail hunters. Its versatility is its defining feature.<\/p>\n

That said, you must find a way to feed these rigid machines. Very few shotguns take magazines, and that means you feed by hand. It is best to keep shells organized and close at hand. SOE Gear has the answer<\/a><\/a>. Whether you’re defending your homestead or in hot pursuit of a criminal or a criminally evasive buck, the 12 Gauge Micro-Rig is an interesting way to feed the shotgun platform. It supplies the minimum real-estate necessary to keep your weapon fed, and it can hold essential items no shooter should leave home with out.<\/p>\n

As the name suggests, the Micro-Rig is compact, so compact and slim that it easily folds up and is stowed behind your seat or under your bench. It will quickly become your go to piece of kit. If you can store your shotgun, you can easily stash this Rig, The minimal size makes it always ready to grab and go.<\/p>\n

How many shells would you want to carry at one time?<\/p><\/div>\n

It has sets of attached shotgun cards that make reloading your rig a breeze and feeding your shotgun that much more convenient. It has a large utility pouch to hold essential tools and medical supplies. On the front of this utility pouch is a large Velcro patch to allow the attachment of other shotgun cards, or even patches. Under this pouch are two elastic loops that allow you to attach a flashlight or a tourniquet.<\/p>\n

Behind the ammunition holders and utility pouch is a large Velcro pouch that allows you to secure documents, or in my case a Velcro mounted holster for the H&K VP9. The way this rig attaches to its operator is slick, fast, and (most importantly) easy. Slip two straps over your head and under your arms and secure one buckle behind your back you are ready to run and gun with the best of them. But if the standard configuration isn\u2019t for you, there is always the option of upgrading to the SOE Gear H-Harness and or Hydration Carrier.<\/p>\n

The 12 Gauge Micro-Rig isn\u2019t gear designed from behind a desk. The Micro-Rig is gear designed in the field, and built out of necessity. At a MRSP of $140 and the ability to pick your camouflage pattern as well as your hand of operation there is no better option for the money or for the convenience.<\/p>\n
