The mount features a Type III hard coat anodized finish, while the slide stop receives a durable nitride and manganese phosphate treatment. After removing the factory slide stop, the MisterSeven slides against the dust cover before the included slide stop pin and a single set screw secure everything in place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On a Magnum Research Desert Eagle 1911 C, the fit was rather tight. The mount required slight tapping to fully seat, while the included slide stop fit snugly into the frame. That secure fit gives me confidence in the system for defensive use.
