He had previously been convicted of shooting at Boston police officers in 2020 and was sentenced to 5\u20136 years in state prison. However, he was granted early release in May 2025 by the Massachusetts Parole Board and allowed to serve the remainder of his sentence under supervision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The board cited his participation in programs, along with claims he was \u201cremorseful\u201d and managing mental health conditions, including PTSD, depression, and anxiety. He was also subject to multiple parole conditions: electronic monitoring, medication compliance, substance restrictions, and ongoing supervision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Less than a year later, authorities say he was back on the street.
