With their firearms drawn, police in Forney, Texas, pulled over a mother and her four young children earlier this month mistaking them for gun-toting thugs, local media report<\/a>s. <\/p>\n

Footage from the harrowing incident was recently released raising questions about whether the police acted appropriately after it was discovered that the description of the car recorded during the 911 complaint, “a beige or tan-colored Toyota with four black males,” did not mach that of Kametra Barbour\u2019s burgundy red Nissan Maxima loaded with four children all under the age of 10. <\/p>\n

Following the incident, a distraught Barbour had a message for law enforcement. <\/p>\n

\u201cI need you to make sure you have all the facts, because you can\u2019t just say, \u2018Okay, I\u2019m sorry,’ and then I\u2019m over it. I can\u2019t. Every time I listen to and hear or think about it, it bothers you. I can\u2019t just say, ‘I\u2019m fine. It\u2019s okay.
