What’s most telling about the video is that not one of them had fired a gun prior to developing their irrational antipathy toward firearms. <\/p>\n
See, like most gun-control advocates, their hostility toward the Second Amendment was born out of ignorance and fear, not a working familiarity of firearms. <\/p>\n
While the brief experience didn’t exactly change their perspective on the issue, it did soften them up a little bit, suggesting that over time if they were continually exposed to responsible gun owners, gun safety education and the joy of shooting, they may begin to value their right to keep and bear arms. <\/p>\n
Not all would turn, as some seem ideologically dug in, but perhaps 3 out of 5 would see the light. <\/p>\n
