Your paycheck? Losing value.  Your savings?  Losing value.  Your buying power? Definitely losing value.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not overnight. Not in some dramatic \u201cbank collapse\u201d headline. But slowly. Quietly. Relentlessly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cPeople kind of look around and say\u2026 I\u2019m still earning money, but it just doesn\u2019t feel like it goes as far\u2026 and a lot of times they\u2019re right.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>And here\u2019s the kicker.  It\u2019s not a bug.  It\u2019s the system.  According to Alden, modern currency systems are designed to grow\u2026 or die.  And that \u201cgrowth\u201d?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It comes from debt, money creation, and whether people realize it or not, debasement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-the-game-is-rigged-and-you-re-probably-not-playing-it\">The Game Is Rigged (And You\u2019re Probably Not Playing It)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This is where things go from uncomfortable to outright brutal.  Alden explains that the real winners in this system aren\u2019t the savers.  They\u2019re the borrowers.  The ones who can take on debt, buy assets, and effectively \u201cshort the currency.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Everyone else?  They\u2019re holding the bag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cGovernments are shorting it, corporations are shorting it\u2026 and the least able to short it are\u2026 those at the bottom of the income stack.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Translation?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you\u2019re just working, saving, and trying to do the \u201cright thing\u201d\u2026 you\u2019re getting squeezed from both sides. Because Alden doesn\u2019t dance around it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cYou kind of keep adding new layers to the system\u2026 until by the end it resembles theft.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Not theft in the traditional sense.  No one\u2019s kicking your door in and grabbing your wallet.  It\u2019s quieter than that.  It\u2019s your dollar buying less.  Your savings shrinking in real terms. There\u2019s no clean exit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cOnce you get to the part where there\u2019s this much debt\u2026 there\u2019s really no way out of it other than they\u2019re going to default.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>But don\u2019t picture some dramatic \u201cwe can\u2019t pay\u201d moment.  Modern default doesn\u2019t look like that.  It looks like printing your way out of the problem and letting inflation do the damage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Slow\u2026 or fast\u2026 depending on how bad things get.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-why-this-matters-to-the-2a-crowd\">Why This Matters to the 2A Crowd<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This is where it all <a href=\"https:\/\/gunsamerica.com\/digest\/civilian-marksmanship-program-86000-m1s-coming-back-army-future\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"why-youre-getting-poorer-every-year\" title=\"Why You\u2019re Getting Poorer Every Year\" data-wpil-monitor-id=\"4037\">comes back<\/a> home.  Because history has a pattern:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Economic instability \u2192 political instability<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Political instability \u2192 social tension<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Social tension \u2192 bad decisions (and worse laws)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>When systems start cracking, governments don\u2019t suddenly get smaller.  They get more aggressive. More control, more restrictions, more \u201cfor your safety\u201d policies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And that includes your rights.  The <a href=\"https:\/\/gunsamerica.com\/digest\/muster-day-revival-second-amendment-rights\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"why-youre-getting-poorer-every-year\" title=\"Why You\u2019re Getting Poorer Every Year\" data-wpil-monitor-id=\"4036\">Second Amendment<\/a> isn\u2019t about hunting. It\u2019s reality with the volume turned up.  We\u2019re not in a freefall collapse\u2026 yet.  But if Alden\u2019s right, and the data suggests she might be, we\u2019re in something slower.  Something more subtle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A long grind where the rules quietly change\u2026 and most people don\u2019t notice until it\u2019s too late.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So the real question isn\u2019t whether the system is shifting.  It\u2019s whether you\u2019re paying attention while it does.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How Do You Protect Yourself From This?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If the system is slowly eating away at your money, doing nothing isn\u2019t a strategy.  You don\u2019t need to go extreme, but you do need to be intentional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Start by getting out of pure cash. If your savings are just sitting there, they\u2019re losing value every year. Think in terms of hard assets (real estate, commodities, long-term equities) that hold or grow value over time, not just dollars in an account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Understand how debt actually works in this system. Used wisely, fixed-rate debt can work in your favor as inflation rises. The goal isn\u2019t speculation.  It\u2019s diversification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the same time, don\u2019t overlook the basics. Skills, adaptability, and self-reliance don\u2019t inflate away. In uncertain times, those matter more than most people realize.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And yes, personal security matters. Economic pressure has a way of spilling into the real world.
