Police are also working to determine the roles of the other individuals involved in the attempted break-in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the homeowner, however, the outcome could have been far worse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Situations like this highlight a harsh reality: home invasions often unfold quickly and violently, leaving homeowners with only seconds to react.
