SHOT Show 2026 brought no shortage of medical gear, but the ReadyMed Hybrid stood out for its modular approach to concealed medical carry. I spoke with Jefferson at the Snakestaff booth to break down how this hybrid IFAK is designed to fit into everyday carry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Modular Hybrid IFAK Platform<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The ReadyMed Pro is a hybrid IFAK built for both inside-the-waistband and outside-the-waistband use. The system allows the end user to configure a medical loadout based on comfort, environment, and personal preference. Inside the waistband, the kit can carry a magazine<\/a> directly attached to the unit, along with medical tools like trauma shears, a decompression needle, marker, or small light.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The kit mounts using Discreet Carry Concepts clips, keeping the profile compact and stable. The goal is a single, consolidated medical package rather than multiple loose items spread across the belt line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One-Handed Deployment<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Deployment follows a single-hand pull-tab design. The user pulls up, drops the kit, and the IFAK remains tethered to the body via a lanyard. The kit is also fully detachable if needed. Integrated trauma shears are actively retained yet quickly accessible.<\/p>\n\n\n

The pull tab itself doubles as a TCCC-style instruction\/history card. That allows patient<\/a> information to stay with the equipment and follow the casualty to higher care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Magazine or Tourniquet Flexibility<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Another option is to swap the magazine for a tourniquet. If you choose not to carry a spare mag, the magazine slot can hold a tourniquet instead. Jefferson explained that if users run a tourniquet in the accessory wing, placing it inboard improves access from either hand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This design reflects a broader shift away from spare magazines in some concealed carry<\/a> setups. The ReadyMed Pro uses that same belt real estate for medical priority instead.<\/p>\n\n\n

The ReadyMed Hybrid is fully modular. Users can carry whatever fits and whatever they are trained<\/a> to use. The configuration shown included two packs of wound packing gauze, gloves, HyFin Compact chest seals, and space for additional items.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The main deploy tab includes lashing holes. These allow users to secure extra gear, such as a pressure dressing, using shock cord.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Availability Timeline<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Pricing is not yet finalized, but Snakestaff expects the ReadyMed Hybrid to launch in Q2 2026, with Q3 as the latest target window. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ReadyMed Hybrid positions itself as a flexible medical carry option for users who want control over how and where lifesaving gear rides every day<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
