Gas\u2011Delayed Blowback and Inverted Hammer<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Remus uses a gas\u2011delayed blowback operating system paired with a fixed barrel. Gas pressure retards rearward movement, allowing the slide to cycle smoothly without unlocking or tilting the barrel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Internally, the pistol uses an inverted hammer system. The hammer rotates internally from the top rail downward plane rather than swinging traditionally upward from the grip. That layout allows the action to remain compact while contributing to consistent ignition and trigger feel.<\/p>\n\n\n

Laugo sets the Alien Remus trigger at approximately 2.5 pounds, with a short, clean reset suited to competition use. The pull remains consistent across the cycle due to the fixed barrel and internal hammer layout.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Importantly, Laugo offers the Remus in true left\u2011hand and right\u2011hand configurations, not just ambidextrous controls. This includes mirrored operation rather than reversible parts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
