The Nocpix MATE Ultra is a 1280 thermal clip-on with an integrated laser rangefinder and onboard ballistic calculator. Nocpix quietly teased the MATE Ultra at SHOT Show 2026, giving attendees an early look at a product that remains months away from release. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company has not announced pricing or a firm launch date. Even so, the feature set signals a serious push into the high-end clip-on thermal<\/a> market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

High-Resolution Thermal Sensor and Optics<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

At the center of the MATE Ultra is a 1280\u00d71024 thermal sensor running at a 60Hz refresh rate. That resolution places it at the top tier of civilian clip-on thermals currently available. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nocpix lists thermal sensitivity at \u226415 mK, allowing the unit to resolve fine detail in low-contrast conditions. A 60mm f\/1.0 germanium lens supports the sensor and helps maintain clarity across the image.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The field of view measures approximately 14.7 by 11.7 degrees. That is wide for a clip-on thermal. At 100 yards, users can expect roughly 25 yards of horizontal coverage. This wider view helps with scanning, tracking moving targets, and maintaining situational awareness in open terrain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
