The design traps gas early, reduces blast, and limits concussion at the shooter\u2019s position. However, this is still a bolt-action <a href=\"https:\/\/gunsamerica.com\/digest\/meet-the-wristwrecker-5000-a-50-bmg-1911-pistol-build\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"integrally-suppressed-50-auto-ordnances-tao50-shot-show-2026\" title=\"Integrally Suppressed .50 BMG: Auto-Ordnance\u2019s $16K TAO50 \u2014 SHOT Show 2026\" data-wpil-monitor-id=\"2714\">50 BMG<\/a>, so have realistic expectations. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-roller-bearing-bolt-and-multi-caliber-setup\">Roller-Bearing Bolt and Multi-Caliber Setup<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the TAO50\u2019s defining features is its patent-pending roller-bearing bolt carrier. Instead of metal-on-metal contact inside the receiver, the carrier rides on roller bearings positioned around the action. Shooters can swap between .50 BMG and .460 Barrett barrels, adding flexibility without buying a second rifle.
