At SIG Sauer\u2019s Range Day, the company provided a closer look at the newest additions to its double-stack 2011-style lineup: the P211 GT4 and GT5. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

These pistols represent a shift away from the compensated, competition-focused GTO. Instead, they are more traditional, duty- and carry-oriented configurations while maintaining many of the same core design elements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The GT5 is built around a 5-inch bull barrel and a steel frame paired with an aluminum grip module. The design closely follows the familiar 2011 pattern but incorporates SIG\u2019s<\/a> own manufacturing and feature choices. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to SIG representatives, the goal was to create a versatile pistol that balances shootability, durability, and modern optics compatibility. However, they did not want to lean too heavily into race-gun territory.<\/p>\n\n\n

Features and Configuration<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The P211 GT5 ships optics-ready, using the DeltaPoint Pro footprint, while also supporting the SIG Lock optic<\/a> mounting standard. Factory night sights are included. This allows the pistol to remain usable out of the box for those who choose not to mount an optic immediately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
