Former coworkers told reporters Lane\u2019s bank account was overdrawn and that he had recently asked to borrow $1,500. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Court records show his apartment complex had filed to terminate his lease, with a judgment expected just days after the shooting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The wounded officer, struck during the ambush, is now home recovering and is expected to make a full recovery.  A rare bright spot in an otherwise grim case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SLED has taken over the investigation, which is standard in officer-involved shootings. <a href=\"https:\/\/gunsamerica.com\/digest\/taylors-company-1873-tc73-review-9mm-lever-action\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"video-moments-greenville-officer-was-ambushed\" title=\"Video: Moments Greenville Officer Was Ambushed!\" data-wpil-monitor-id=\"2534\">Authorities say additional information and video<\/a> are expected to be released later this month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For neighbors and coworkers, the outcome was horrifying.
