Investigators say both men were armed at the time of the incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the shooting, Davis and Jenkins were arrested and booked on multiple serious charges, including attempted robbery with a deadly weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery, burglary while in possession of a <a href=\"https:\/\/gunsamerica.com\/digest\/ak-47-hog-blaster\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"armed-suspects-shot-during-alleged-garage-robbery\" title=\"Armed Suspects Shot During Alleged Garage Robbery\" data-wpil-monitor-id=\"2276\">gun or deadly weapon<\/a>, and assault with a deadly weapon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As of Wednesday, court records showed both suspects were still hospitalized from their injuries. A Horrible Idea<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Police have not released the name of the homeowner, and authorities have not announced any charges against him at this time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nevada law allows the use of <a href=\"https:\/\/gunsamerica.com\/digest\/deadly-force-understanding-right-self-defense-book-review\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"armed-suspects-shot-during-alleged-garage-robbery\" title=\"Armed Suspects Shot During Alleged Garage Robbery\" data-wpil-monitor-id=\"2279\">deadly force<\/a> only under specific circumstances, including a reasonable belief of imminent danger. Legal experts note that simply seeing someone <a href=\"https:\/\/gunsamerica.com\/digest\/hunt365-june-backcountry-carry-solution-sig-sauer-p320-xten-10mm\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"armed-suspects-shot-during-alleged-garage-robbery\" title=\"Armed Suspects Shot During Alleged Garage Robbery\" data-wpil-monitor-id=\"2277\">carrying a firearm<\/a> is not enough to justify deadly force.  But <a href=\"https:\/\/gunsamerica.com\/digest\/concealed-carrier-administers-first-aid-after-fatally-shooting-teen-during-armed-robbery\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"armed-suspects-shot-during-alleged-garage-robbery\" title=\"Armed Suspects Shot During Alleged Garage Robbery\" data-wpil-monitor-id=\"2280\">armed robbery<\/a> inside or near a residence can dramatically change that legal analysis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Investigators are continuing to review the circumstances of the shooting.
