Not Instagram. Not Twitter. <em>LinkedIn<\/em>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When he returned home, he wasn\u2019t warned or lectured. He wasn\u2019t told to take it down. He was arrested.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"UK Man ARRESTED After Posting Gun Photo Taken in America?!\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/uWMRag4PaiQ?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">\u2018I thought 1984 was a book, not an instruction manual,\u2019 said Jon Richelieu-Booth in an interview with local media. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As Colion Noir cites from the <em>Telegraph&#8217;s<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.telegraph.co.uk\/news\/2025\/11\/28\/it-consultant-arrested-after-posing-with-gun-on-linkedin\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"british-man-arrested-after-posting-u-s-gun-photo\" title=\"British Man Arrested After Posting U.S. Gun Photo\">reporting<\/a>, West Yorkshire Police took him into custody for a perfectly legal photo taken in another country. What followed wasn\u2019t a misunderstanding but a 13-week ordeal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Officers showed up at his home to warn him about \u201conline content\u201d and its potential \u201cimpact on others\u2019 feelings.\u201d The man tried to explain the obvious: the photos were taken legally in the United States. UK authorities didn\u2019t care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">WTF. 11 police officers in Britain broke into the home of a woman and arrested her while she was still naked.<br \/><br \/>Her crime?<br \/><br \/>She sent a text to someone calling a man who assaulted her a &quot;faggot.&quot;<br \/><br \/>The UK has fallen.<a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/8qIvWOnDxc\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"british-man-arrested-after-posting-u-s-gun-photo\" title=\"British Man Arrested After Posting U.S. Gun Photo\">pic.twitter.com\/8qIvWOnDxc<\/a><\/p>&mdash; Libs of TikTok (@libsoftiktok) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/libsoftiktok\/status\/1996242718876373122?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"british-man-arrested-after-posting-u-s-gun-photo\" title=\"British Man Arrested After Posting U.S. Gun Photo\">December 3, 2025<\/a><\/blockquote> <script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The charges were eventually dropped\u2014but the nightmare continued. Noir highlights the most shocking part: despite the dismissal, police returned to the man\u2019s property after 10 p.m. that same night and detained him again. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s not law enforcement,\u201d Noir says, adding, &#8220;That\u2019s harassment. It\u2019s the predictable result of a country where citizens have no meaningful ability to push back. Yet police resources were poured into arresting a man over a vacation photo. That\u2019s the part that hits hardest: an unarmed population policed by a government that knows it can do whatever it wants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cNo, you don\u2019t have free speech without the Second Amendment,\u201d Noir says. The British man\u2019s arrest, he argues, isn\u2019t just a cautionary tale; it\u2019s a preview of what America would become if the Second Amendment were ever dismantled.
