'Unconvertible' V-Series Already Defeated!\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"1445\">pistol<\/a> unable to accept a switch, slam the door on conversion, and get California and a handful of other states off Glock\u2019s back. In theory? PR win. In reality? The internet took one look at Glock\u2019s redesigned backplate geometry and said, \u201cWrite that down. Write that down.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before most stores even have these things in stock, someone has already managed to fit a switch into a Model V. Not hypothetically. Not \u201cmaybe with the right gear.\u201d No, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/Glocks\/comments\/1ozyy92\/all_that_nonsense_for_nothing\/?share_id=TyChmf2UEJkPEL7zftz4j&amp;utm_content=2&amp;utm_medium=ios_app&amp;utm_name=ioscss&amp;utm_source=share&amp;utm_term=1\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"glock-fail-unconvertible-v-series-already-defeated\" title=\"Glock Fail! The gun community essentially speedran Glock\u2019s entire engineering department while holding a Dremel and a Red Bull.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And of course, the reactions were priceless from the AK Guy. \u201cYou can\u2019t stop the signal.\u201d \u201cLife finds a way.\u201d \u201cAt max two weeks\u201d became \u201cnot even a month after the announcement.\u201d Glock thought they were building Jurassic Park electric fences. 'Unconvertible' V-Series Already Defeated!\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"1446\">federally regulated as a machine gun<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Instead of challenging the misunderstanding behind the lawsuits, they redesigned half their pistol and still ended up with the same result: a <a href=\"https:\/\/gunsamerica.com\/digest\/sig-p365-vs-glock-43-vs-sw-shield\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"glock-fail-unconvertible-v-series-already-defeated\" title=\"Glock Fail! 'Unconvertible' V-Series Already Defeated!\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"1443\">semi-auto gun<\/a> that a determined tinkerer can force into doing things it absolutely shouldn\u2019t.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That\u2019s the part the video hammers home: the whole premise was flawed from the start. You can regulate the part. You can outlaw the part. But you can\u2019t legislate away human ingenuity or a <a href=\"https:\/\/gunsamerica.com\/digest\/concealed-carry-reciprocity-house-vote\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"glock-fail-unconvertible-v-series-already-defeated\" title=\"Glock Fail! 'Unconvertible' V-Series Already Defeated!\">targeted<\/a> Ruger\u2019s RXM for the same thing. Proving, once again, the political version of <em>give a mouse a cookie<\/em>: give an inch, lose a mile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The bigger takeaway is simple: technology evolves, tinkerers exist, and <a href=\"https:\/\/gunsamerica.com\/digest\/montana-tough-franchis-momentum-elite-varmint-rifle-takes-on-pronghorns-and-prairie-dogs\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"glock-fail-unconvertible-v-series-already-defeated\" title=\"Glock Fail!
